Ever since 1997 Johnson has been creating MSX songs for Syntax's MSX diskmagazine NV. As of today you can download more than 40 MSX songs in BGM, MPK and OPX format from his website.

Misoneko's and Mabu's MSX-FAN tunes

Minesoko and Mabu are two composers who frequently submitted MSX songs to the popular MSX magazine 'MSX Fan' in 1992. Now, they have added 21 songs they once created for MSX Fan in MP3 format to the sounds section of their website.

We have just added a link to Silicon Cave, a retrocomputing portal with links to active groups, developers, resources, collections, museums etc. The website is trying to put current retro-developments in context.

BASIC reaches the age of 40!

The programming language BASIC, on which MSX BASIC is based, is becoming 40 this may. In 1964 BASIC was developed by John Kemeny en Thomas Kurtz at the Darthmoud College in New Hampshire.

MSX Posse renewed

We reported before about some changes that took place on MSX Posse, an active MSX portal. As of now, MSX Posse and MSX Board have merged into a big, full featured messageboard with Dutch, English and 'bull' sections. The forum already contains close to 5000 messages.

Just at the time a discussion arose on our forums about a potential new MSX mainboard , Leonardo Padial announced his eMSX2++ project on HispaMSX.

The eMSX2++ is a 100% MSX2+ compatible fitted on a very small 15x20cm mainboard.

After the launch of the new, improved MSX Resource Center website on December 18th the activity on the MSX Resource Center forums got a huge boost. In October 2003 our forums reached 10.000 posts.
