Pandora-MSX 1.1.0
Yesterday, Pandora-MSX 1.1.0 was released. This is Marat Fayzullin's fMSX, ported to Pandora, the compact handheld featuring a Qwerty keyboard and lots more. Once again a penguin gazes at you, at the Pandora website, certainly the most popular inhabitant of Antarctica we've ever come across.
The first part of another game exposed by only_69: Mortadelo y Filemon II, known also as Clever & Smart II or Mort & Phil II.
msxDS 0.84
A new version of msxDS, an MSX/MSX2/MSX2+ emulator for DS/DS Lite, was released today. New in this version:
- Fixed a small bug in the keyboard
- Added Kanji ROM support
- Added emulation clock (RTC)
- Improved ROM support

These are exciting times for MSX hardware. A day ago we reported about OPL4 Shockwave and Powergraph, and then SuperSoniqs bangs the door with their latest hardware project: PlaySoniq; lotsa fun things on a PCB which can open doors to new possibilities.

Shockwave isn't the only news from Tecnobytes. During the second meeting of the year (June 2010), they started selling the Powergraph, a graphic board for MSX graphic board, compatible with the Graphics9000 (containing the V9990 VDP chip).
OPL4 Shockwave
On the MSXRio' 2010 Fair in March, Ricardo Oazem of Tecnobytes released his soundboard: OPL4 Shockwave. The Shockwave is entirely compatible with the Moonsound, using OPL4 and 1Mb of Sample RAM. Oazem uses a DAC to improve sound quality.
