Patch to fix the MB-H1 firmware

The original firmware searches if a ROM cartridge is inserted in the slot 1 or 2, if no ROM cartridge is found, the firmware is executed. Which is practical but the secondary slots are not taken into account, so if you insert a disk interface with several functions (memory expansion, megaflash-ROM, etc.), it will not be detected and the firmware will start, which causes a conflict.

With this extraction tool you can create ROM files of your MSX Cartridges with different sizes, from 16 Kb up to 2048 Kb. And with the most common mapper types, like Konami, ASCII 8 Kb, and ASCII 16 Kb.

Run under DOS.


This patch will make your games that have PSG music sound a little bit better by using the Konami SCC cartridge instead of the internal PSG.

This TSR can be used to enhange PSG sounds with SCC. Please feel free to use it in your projects. You may also want to try it with existing programs.

Please note: This program works only with applications that handle interrupts in standard way trough BIOS.

Minimum system requirements:
- 16KB RAM
