The MSX software company BitVision, who are known for their game Intruder and Barbarian The Duel, has just announced its new game Green Gravity Guy Plus. A piece of software written for the V9990 graphics and OPL4 audio extensions. Help professor Aicrag by jumping higher into the clouds in this game for MSX.

The MSX video extension chip V9990 is a powerful, yet rarely used piece of hardware. There's not much MSX software that supports this giant pixel generator. The software company BitVision is about to change that. They just released their latest game called Green Gravity Guy Plus. And that one runs, just like their previous hit codename:Intruder, on the V9990 extension. Green Gravity Guy Plus is a addictive game with a simple task; just jump from platform to platform up into the sky. It has a very classic MSX-game feel to it.

Minimum hardware requirements to run this game are an MSX With 16K of Ram, a V9990 Video extension (GFX9000 for example), and an OPL4 Sound chip Expansion. Or just play it on your fave MSX emulator with these two expansions activated.

And to top it of, BitVision Software offers its older games Code Name:Intruder and Arcomage free for download. The files come in ROM format.

BitVision's new mini game called Green Gravity Guy Plus is available for only 6 euros (Rom format) on Repro Factory. Where you can also still get the original physical editions of their previous game.

This type of game are numerous and have existed for a long time. It is a classic. I can not remember the titles but there are already at least two for MSX.

Green Gravity Guy Plus is a nice remake. I like so much the sound effects.

I think you might mean Compile's Jump Heros.

Really nice game but it is completly mute with Gr8net. Any hope for a patch or FM music support?

Hi sunn
Please let me know if Eugene has found a solution. I've fot GR8Net as well, but it is not updated (and I don't have much time to do it right now, sorry).
If there is an issue with the game, I'd like to update it (and learn about what's wrong with the OPL4 sound)
Cheers!
