broken music keyboard from philips

hello, i can buy a philips music keyboard for the music module from philips but some keys are not working, could this be a big problem or just some bad connection inside?

Most likely the cable indeed. I've had to repair the cable quite often as well. This is where Toshiba chose the better cable.
