"MSX/MSX2
For easy use as a null, the RS-232C interface and terminal software are integrated into one cartridge case.
MSX/MSX2 can be used as a terminal with the Tasco cartridge inserted.
Built-in software includes communication parameters setting, printer scrolling control.
Most of the software as a terminal such as an image editor is included.
You can enter katakana by key input, send them, romanize them.

Easy to update
When using this cartridge on MSX2, there is also a function to transfer the hacked-up date and time held inside MSX2 to TNC, so TNC can be updated at the correct time at any time.

I've just seen what TNC means..... There's something similar with Yaesu: https://www.msx.org/wiki/Yaesu_FIF-232C, see the FIF-232C VAN version.

I uploaded MPC-10mkII board pics here. Please feel free to use them. It isn't easy to ungut it because of wires running to the slot frame and keyboard fixed to the upper casing. The slot frame has the same spring loaded stopper with MPC-10 but unlike MPC-10 I can insert/extract ROM when MPC-10mkII is powered. I cannot determine if the protection is dropped from MPC-10 mkII or my unit is faulty.

Tasco released a range of TNC under Telereader brand, most of them outside MSX.

I now noticed that in Victor HC-5 there is mention about 2nd model having 16KB ram, but i have 32KB ram. So do i have 3rd model, or is wiki info just wrong? Also i now quickly tried Victor HC-A602S in Yamaha CX-5F, and it produces output from rgb21. Will test with VHD game if superimpose side will work or not.

I would not be surprised that there's a 3rd version. Probably Victor had complaints from people comparing with the corresponding Yamaha model and being not happy with the RAM size.

The mainboards for my HC-5 and CX-5F seems quite same:
HC-6: YMX-CPU LC56040 4
CX-5F: YMX-CPU LC56040 5
So why would HC-6 have older version than CX-5F? Also HC-5 has some wired connections in same place where there would be LS244 in CX-5F.
