When using the search function, the results no longer contain those from the wiki.

*edit* never mind, seems to suddenly work again.

I had the same problem. I search for Daewoo type "Wiki", and I only got 2 pages as a result, which didn't even have "Daewoo" in the title. The same search now gives more results, but still not all that I would expect.

Searching for "sony" gives 13 page hits in the wiki, obviously there are a lot more then 13 pages which mention Sony. Are the results perhaps getting limited to 2 pages?

The search engine is reindexing all content (newsposts, forum posts, and also the wiki). Since there’s a lot of content, it might take a while for everything to be in the index again.

I have noticed that as well, sometimes no results sometimes missing many results. Also on occasion the site loads slowly, maybe the SQL server needs some TLC?

The search engine seems to be malfunctioning since the site was updated. The wiki is particularly affected. In addition, some links are even broken. For example, the link to the "R. & J.Jansen Memory Mapper 256/512" page here. Special characters of URL seem incorrectly encoded.

The wiki incorrectly displays & in title of pages, you need to use "and" .... and I have corrected that some time ago:

https://www.msx.org/wiki/R._and_J.Jansen_Memory_Mapper_256/512

It is not a new problem, it has always been like that. I think it's not the first time I mention it when correcting the title of a wiki page.

Also the redirect does not work in such cases (I thought it was working), so I've now adapted the table in this page: https://www.msx.org/wiki/Category:RAM_Expansions#Memory_Mapp...

For the rest, the MRC Search function has always seemed me very unefficient, even if you try to limit it to the wiki, so I prefer to use the advanced search mode of Google.

The problem is these links worked before. It didn't put a dot instead of the %.

Before, it was not very effective but it worked. Now it finds almost nothing in the wiki.

Ah it explains why the redirect is no more working, because I am pretty sure it was working when I've corrected the title of the concerned wiki page.

So, indeed, it is worse than before!
