Hello all, i have been using openmsx since various versions and i noticed a problem that seem to be still arising. When i'm using turbor emulation, (panasonic a1gt), when i try to get the special characters like the yen(slash in non jp machines) the kana modifier keeps active even when i switch off and the keyboard acts unresponsive. Sometimes the key pressed, repeats several times until i hit backspace, and all the time switching from kanji to standard chars.
Anyone experiencing this problem with turbor emulation?.

Which PC keyboard layout are you using?
Which keyboard mapping mode do you use in openMSX? (And which version of openMSX?)
Which characters are you trying to type exactly and what happens for each of them?

Well i'm using the latest openmsx binaries as well as version 15. I'm using a spanish keyboard and the layout is set as such in windows. One of the problems is tha using shift + ñ key activates kana mode. That key sometimes is assigned the : character and is needed in order to load or typing paths in msxdos.

As I don't have such a keyboard I cannot reproduce the issue. But you could try to change the mapping mode from the OSD menu under Misc settings to POSITIONAL.

I have already spoken about this issue that occurs is with several keyboard layouts. It would be to be able to redefine any key according to the used MSX.
