I made a small SCC demo that I think is quite nice. Its using a custom made replayer that sound pretty good but isn't that useful because it requires synchronized code. If MRC wants to host it it would be nice. In the meantime you can download it here.

It sounds great with BlueMSX but, errr... doesn't work on Turbor-R with a CF.

Are common SCC mappers restricted to a maximum size of 512KB? Theoretically it should be able to go up to 2MB (256 pages), allowing a much longer sample, and perhaps a smoother loop too, cause.. no offense, but it currently sounds like a CD skip, or an incomplete MP3 download

Great looking tech demo!...and talking about sample lengths, what's the theoretical maximum sample length you can sqeeze on 512KB?, it's compressed right now?

hap: as for your classic music: the composition might very well be out of copyrights, the recording certainly isn't!

@wolf_: Of course its possible to change the music and gfx but then the demo wouldn't be a Leila K demo I haven't looked at the downloads but I'm sure that there are many demos that uses copyrighted music and gfx already.

@hap: 2MB would indeed be possible with a konami SCC mapper. The reason why I limited it to 512kB is that both my ESE cart and my MegaFlashrom SCC cart are 512 kB.

@GuilianSeed: I don't know why the demo don't work on your TR. I tested the demo on my WSX using MegaFlashrom SCC. Perhaps your TR is in R800 mode. Then it will not work.
