eric please, since symbos will support ethernet, try to build denyonet
@sd_snatcher : The board does not have MSX-audio bios
@Retrofan, the cartridge have screws, it's the same cases as the dalsori.
you can see the board details on my werbsite here : http://msx.ebsoft.fr/moonsound.php
@ o.geerdink MMM (Muscial Memory Mapper) is out of stock know, and we have problems with providing good chips for it. (Just received a bad chip batch, so it delayed for now ... The MMM Will come back in stock but not before 3 or 4 weeks at least)
@enribar Well, provide me some shematics and I will see what i can do. ;)
Very soon now, a batch of RS232 cartridges will be available. It can be used with some Rs232 to Ethernet module, and many other devices...
Cool build. Did you use the yac513? . Btw why did you call it fm blaster?
Hey Eric!
I'm interested in one unit
@msd. Yes it used Yac513. I called it Fm Blaster because it design is based on the wozblaster.
It's a bit misleading, as it also does wavetable and not only FM!
I reserve one. Be sure to contact me when all production process is finished. Good luck!
This is very awesome. I've always wanted a Moonsound to play around with. I'm interested as well and I'm attempting to contact Maggoo right now to see if he would be interested as well but I think he is currently traveling. I guess maybe put us down tentatively for now. I'll have to save up my budget that my Wife allows me to spend for this, so when would you need payment by you think, Eric?
By the way, I agree with Manuel in that it did seem initially misleading as I thought it was a regular FM cartridge at first. Are you married to the name yet? Because I think 'MoonBlaster' sounds cooler personally! And then you could do a crazy character logo based on this! : )
Edit: Okay, so NearDark released software called MoonBlaster, but since one would be software and one would be hardware, I don't think that would get too confusing, but I could be wrong...

Not really... I use a tracker called Moonblaster, be it for MSX-Music/MSX-Audio or OPL4...
FM is a bit off though... There should still be time to change it to something more fitting...
I'm also curious to know if a better dac is used than Moonsound has... I pay more for a good dac if needed
I'm interested too. The more OPL4 cartrirdges for MSX, the better.
