Using the FM-BIOS for the OPLL would be enough for most cases. There's some documentation here, here and here.

I don't mean to be rude, but I already explained many times that this isn't possible without ruining the BIOS. It has to run from its own slot, and it has to have workRAM in the same slot, mirrored the way it needs.

After taking the effort of making 48k ROM, instead of making a new version,
make a little example code that sets up a frequency and a volume and plays a tone.

Ok maybe the things I got in mind are unorthodox and the normal case is that an ages known player is used, need not know registers, and a big MSX2 game is made.
