I don't fully understand the blueMSX format. But what kind of specs do you want in the machine?
(What about using Boosted MSX2 EN? It does have the MSX2+ VDP.... you could try to change its BIOS if you insist on MSX-BASIC version 3.)
Is it possible to make a Boosted MSX2+ European with startscreen 0 ? I used in BlueMSX the roms: MSX2PE.ROM, MSX2PEXTE.ROM,MSX2MUSE.ROM,KANJI.ROM,MOONSOUND.ROM, MSXKANJI.ROM, PANASONICDISK.ROM, XBASIC2.ROM.
I did try but i do not understand what i am doing wrong.
Boot once.
In Basic type:
screen 0: width 80: set screen
and you're done.
Indeed, this is not related to the machine config or the ROMs. The Boosetd MSX2 EN is European. The names of the ROMs don't tell me much.
What do you want to achieve with the machine?
I just wanted to know if the same config was possible with the same roms.I also thought that the kanji roms etc were changed etc, and a few other changes.
so it was more a question if it was possible and how to do it.
Yes, the same config is possible, with the same ROMs.
How to do it:
1) understand the format of the blueMSX config
2) configure the same machine in the openMSX config format
For 2, there is some help here: http://openmsx.org/manual/setup.html#hardwareedit
Also notice this part: http://openmsx.org/manual/setup.html#romchecksums
If you have specific questions about number 2, please let me know.
Is it very hard for experienced programmers among us who could make a tiny utility to convert between different machine configuration files for famous emulators, say from openMSX xml files to blueMSX ini files and vice versa?!

Well, even though I have no experience in any of the formats, I can say that it's likely to be technically impossible to do that. It would definitely not be "tiny", it would also be very time-consuming.
At the very least you need to store all the hardware configurations of every hardware in it, and then all the different configuration definition of every one of those hardware description for every emulator you want to convert. That alone would need a large database on its own, let alone the rest of the program.
Eimaster: would it be worth the effort? It's not that hard to modify an existing openMSX config to your needs. What do you want in the config?
It is because some machines runs perfectly on this emulator but not on that and vice vera. Sometimes I want to run Sakhr TurboR which is found in openMSX but not in MSX.emu. MSX.emu screen 0, width 80 is more clear (unblurry) so that I can make clear snapshots of Arabic softwares.
