24% VAT for Finland (0% category otherwise for this equipment, but VAT needs to be paid anyway). And VAT is paid also for the shipping costs...

Anyway, really nice package. Fortunately I sold my other Russian computers already, otherwise I would have felt urge to buy this one.

This goes highly off-topic... 60% import tax sounds like top, I haven't ever heard any worse...

"Reasonably priced" - this is always an personal opinion (and interesting topic ). Many people may share the same "common" opinion about it, but there is always someone thinking differently. I personally finds this set quite reasonable - however, I have no unlimited funds and there are some other priorities just now, so I'm not buying. First time I see such a good package in a very good condition (yes, I have seen for example loose keyboard missing a keycap and put together with screws sticking through plastics (sold still for three number price), broken parts from computer and so on). And even in bad condition this computer is very rare. And also, in my opinion rarity and condition makes part of the value always. Why else would even rubbish games sell for hundreds or thousands of euros/dollars?

What comes to Turbo-R... Only reason that they are still "commonly reasonably" priced is the amount of them produced compared to rather small user/collector group. If they would be more rare, this "king of the MSX" machine would sell today in a totally different price class.

PS. There was working C65 prototype recently sold in Ebay for more than 80000 Euro (yes, 80 thousand) - IMO, it didn't sell for that amount just for it's technical superiority or usability compared to C64

In curiosity: what misinformation is here with this YIS-805?

Just some "bouncing the ball":
"Demand in having something" - well, another interesting (off-)topic... Somebody may easily use almost 2500 Euro per year for cigarrettes and be just ok with that (a box of cigarrettes here costs over 7 Euro according to google and if you use one box per day...). Well, if you don't for example smoke, you have such "useless pile of money" and may feel demand for collecting something what someone else does not value any way. And anyway, some collectors have a good salary or other incomes -> there is a lot of money to put into items nowadays. Collecting these machines is not nowadays anymore 15 year old kid pocket money -level.

In the end you could easily question why to have real MSX-hardware at all when you can emulate it on PC... Having real item, like T-R or game cartridge is just another "demand".
