Update #2: got the samples and tried all three sizes! The big JAP Konami box size was almost spot on but could still use some extra room as I had to push the box slightly too much to get it in. Same for the medium sized Konami box. The smaller EU (second gen) Konami box was sadly too small to even fit.
I've send loads of pictures to the seller who's going to do one more sample batch to get it right before going to mass production. I expect the same turnaround as before, couple of weeks, so stay tuned

Hey guys! I know it's been a while but there is an update:
It should take about 2 weeks from now for the large (Jap konami Metal Gear 2 size) and medium (Jap/EU regular konami size) to arrive. Those have been adjusted in size slightly and now produced in a large amount at least. The smaller EU konami boxes (like Metal Gear 1) have been resampled and should arrive in a month, together with his new supplies from China (he does large orders every 2 months or so). Then that one has to be tested before also going into production like the other two, so I expect that one to take a while longer.
There's no way of saying when the 2 fully produced boxes will available in his webshop, but he did mention he's in the process of moving (either home or work, not sure) so it will take a while longer.
At least there is some real movement on all this, so I'm sure all our patience will eventually be rewarded!
