Finally, an update we've been waiting for: the seller has made box protectors available for sale! For now only for the large JAP Konami boxes and regular EU/JAP Konami boxes. The EU smaller boxes (like EU Metal Gear) he's still working on but he expects the sample to be with him in 1-2 weeks.

Received the batch of 25 medium boxes. They're slimmer than the Atari 2600 ones that I've been using, though still feel like they could be just slightly thinner. They also seem somewhat bulgy in places - not uniformly rectangular like other protectors I've come across.
Overall though, I'm happy with the purchase, and will likely order more soon. Also, looking forward to the mini boxes.

Also received mine, I am very satisfied with the medium boxes, but have no comparison to other protectors.
Uberjack, did you removed the protection foil before folding the boxes? I missed that point in the first. Beginner ...

Can you show what you actually got? I'm not 100% sure which part of the box you get and what it looks like.

They're plastic boxes that go over the usual Konami boxes

Update since my last post: one of the boxes came unglued. Not a good sign...

I've ordered over 100+ boxes from this seller, including other sizes for SNES and NES games without a quality problem. I haven't had problems so far with boxes coming unglued or being bulgy though.

For the bulginess: I flatten each side by folding the box first into shape without a game in it. In particular the top and bottom flaps can be tricky but once you do a few you get the trick.

As for size fit I've mainly bought the regular Konami sized medium ones. Considering my games do have some slight differences I think the tightness overall works well and doesn't fit too tightly around them, preventing damage if you ever take them out again.

Anyway, just my two cents, not a sponsored message if you have a problem just reach out to him, I'm sure he'd be happy to replace whatever boxes you received that are faulty.

Last Weekend I put 25+ Konami European Boxes in the medium protectors discussed here. I made the same experience like perfectnarcosis described: First pull of the protective foil, second form the 90 degrees edges and finally make the flaps elastic by pulling them back and forth (always over 90 degrees), finally put the gamebox itself in the protector. No unglueing so far.

by the way:
1. What box protectors do fit best for MSX Game Cartridges from Sony (Hit Bit), the small square ones?
2. What box protectors do fit best for MSX Game Cartridges from Sony (Hit Bit), the big ones?
They are slightly bigger than Konami European Boxes and the medium size protectors from the boxprotectorshop do not fit for them.
3. What box protectors do fit best for MSX Game Cartridges from HAL?

Maybe some of you have good experience with protectors for other systems and share their experience with me?
