According to the wiki info, only the /19 has rgb output. That means that your /00 (only) has composite output from the 8 pin DIN connector. In short video out and ground is all you get from it (besides audio). On the scart side, you'll need video signal on pin 20 and video ground on pin 17.
DIN: pin 5 video and pin 2 ground.

Yes , if you have the VG 8010/00, there is no RGB output but I think you can link the yellow RCA to the pins 2 and 5 to connect it on a TV.

Actually, if you don't want to solder, these cheap cables work fine on VG8020/00, /20 and /40 so should also work just fine on VG8010/00. There originally meant for old stereo audio equipment but the connection layout is the same ;)

it seems not to have DIN 45326...should this work anyway?

i've tried scart video signal on pin 20 ----- din pin 5
scart GND on pin 17 ----- din pin 2
but nothing happen...can you explain me if i had to connect other pin too...

Sorry to hear that and sorry for asking this, but are you sure the tv has been switched to AV in (or something like that) ?

With only these two lines connected, your tv doen't get a signal to switch to AV in automatically. Like it would with a commercial scart cable and for example a vcr / dvd player connected.

If your tv has more than one scart connection, can you try them both/all ?

Does your tv have composite in ? Usually a yellow rca connector. That will take the same signal as pins 20 and 17 of your scart connector. Only video signal and video ground. That will probably be another AV in selection.

My ancient lcd tv (which I don't use for MSX) for example has two scarts, composite in (rca), s-vhs in, rgb in (rca) and HDMI. You have to be sure which input to select in your tv menu.

Your TV may not have a composite input in the SCART.
Try also to add wire from 6 to 8.

I have tested these cables on VG8020/00, VG8020/20, VG8020/40, VG8235/20. All have a 8 pin DIN female connector in which this cable will fit and connect the red cable to composite video (usually yellow) and the white cable to audio.

Normally, the yellow video cable is made differently from the cable for sound. The central insulation is a bit thicker. The picture is a bit better than with the white or red cable.
