Hello everyone. I'm a bit of a retro junkie and spent about 12 hours yesterday researching old computers for retro gaming. I'm already arguably quite the retro user with a Windows XP gaming pc, NES, PS1, etc. But I plan to go further with MSX and a few other retro PC's.
I have pretty much figured out all I need to know to get started (what to buy, where to buy, some games to start with, etc).
The one problem I have left is the monitor. I have a sony gdm-fw900 CRT Monitor. For CRT TV's I have a Sony KD-30XS955 and a Sony KV-36FV310.
For MSX gaming would these work well? I know my Sony GDM-FW900 supports 240P@120Hz but I have been told that would not work with a MSX without an adapter?
My main goal is for the display to work natively with non-emulated equipment. Namely, I don't want to change the resolution or image from the classic MSX games if at all possible.
If none of my monitors/TV's would work, what are the highly recommended monitors for MSX Gaming?
Thank you for any and all answers!
