I'll bookmark Cheat MSX just in case. Then, if the cheat is found, it could be made into a file that should work with Blue MSX.
I checked the cheat. The one I listed doesn't work on a pc with emulator (probably due to keyboard matrix issues) but I guess it could work on a real MSX, but have not a working setup at hand. But what Guillian says works on PC with emulator. So you could try to make those musics...
I don't think I can, Randam. I guess I might as well wait.
I guess I might as well give up.
Don't give up; maybe someone can make it now that the cheat is known. Other KSS files have been made back in the day...

I can try out the cheat, but does it include a sound test? Because part of the problem is that the game's got sound effects bloody everywhere, and the enemies are relentless. And while you can always go into the status screen for a respite, the music slows down and warps as you enter it due to the disk-loading that occurs every single time. So ripping clean copies of each track through audio-out alone (my usual method) would be a rather tricky and time-consuming undertaking.

The cheat is mostly that you are equipment is maxed out. Seed of dragon has special attacks that attack everything on screen. This is to the detriment of your equipment, but now that should not be a problem. So you could just destroy everything on screen and then rip the music. And with maxed out weapons everything becomes really easy anyways. So it might not be as big a problem.
Can't Vampier just make a trainer for it in openMSX? he once did that "on demand" for me for another game. I bet other people can do that to.
Hmm... I wonder if it can be done?
I just don't know why Riverhill Soft did not want the music to be ripped from this game. Was it because of strict anti-disk piracy laws?
