My suggestion was more in the direction of being immortal and cheat your way through the game.
In theory that can be done for every game. Just someone with the knowledge has to want to take their time for it.
You also have a big number of continues aside from the high stats. You are so strong that the beginning is not remotely challenging anymore. I have not tried if you can even loose life, but at the beginning I was not even able to...
I see. Interesting.

That at least sounds useful for completing the game! I was able to beat stages 1-3 with little difficulty, but stage 4 is INSANELY LONG AND DIFFICULT. Like, the jump in difficulty between stages 3 and 4 is absolutely ridiculous.

Dang, dude. What the heck was Riverhill Soft thinking?
I have an update to this. I recently found 2 pieces of software that could help in ripping the soundtrack. However, they have a steep learning curve:
1. https://www.msx.org/forum/msx-talk/software/kss-generator-an...
2. https://github.com/niekvlessert/mus2kss
You can also dump it into VGM with openMSX.

The first option seems to work on ROM games only. Not sure how the second option could help.

The problem is playing all the songs (I don’t think there is a music mode/menu).
The people on vgmrips often hack the ROM to e.g. change the song ID playing on the title screen, or disable the game loop / enemy spawns / sfx routine with a cheat so the music can be recorded without interference of sound effects.
