A really stupid question on Sofarun and running DSK images :/

Hi.

I'm really stumped, so I have to bother you guys/gals with this. Running Megaflash SSC+SD and Sofarun 7.0. When I try to run a DSK file, it starts the SofaRunit and then prompts me for the drive letter (A, B). A is the write protected one of Megaflash and B is the drive that has all the files on the SD card --> can't get forward at that point :/ Am I stupid or what here?

What am I doing wrong? Is my hw/sw configuration somehow completely different than others have? Running ROMS works perfectly fine. Also the internal (modded to 720 KB) floppy works perfectly.

Specs:

-NMS8235 modded as MSX2+ with 256KB RAM
-MegaFlash SSC+ SD
-Sofarun 7.0

Two typos there: SCC instead of SSC. For some reason I cannot edit the post :/

Can you post a picture of the message? Did you change all references to A:\ to B:\ in all the SofaRun INI files?

Ok, here's screenshot. There are no references to A: in my SR.ini. I guess there's something wrong with my Sofarun configuration/SD card configuration, but I really don't know enough to fix this.

SOLVED. Apparently Blade Lords is one of those games, that do not work with the SofarunInit. My bad. I remember running the game from the same DSK file with the same setup, but apparently I used the OPFXSD.COM back then.

Sorry about the hassle.

Strange, I think I played Blade Lords with SofaRun a few weeks ago. Used the MCCM-cd version.
Looks like you also played that version and it seems to trigger the CALL FORMAT dialog!?

Yes, I was wondering the same. Seems a bit weird at least.

Hmmm, it's working here too. Probably again something related to the MSX RAM configuration (like the Aleste 2 issues mentionned in another thread). Maybe that could be patched (could also be that you have a different ROM version...).

Yeah, something like that it must be, because otherwise it really does not make any sense Smile What ROM version are you referring to?
