I have the following news:
PCB is localized in the RBSC group.
A new version of the board has been developed, in which bugs have been fixed.
A convenient case made of translucent plastic has been developed:
Changed the display order of bars: high frequencies are now on the right.
New colors are now used, such as: red, red and green, blue and red (all discrete).
New video:

A modification for ZX Spectrum has also been implemented:

A small series of boards has been ordered, I really hope that I can send it to everyone.
Unfortunately, time is short, but I will try to keep you informed.
ps: My many try case:
Great improvement over the first version! And what a wonderful case!
Is your project based on the vizualiser by Yeongman Seo?
"Is your project based on the vizualiser by Yeongman Seo?"
no, my project very-very simple for PSG (see photo, in MSX-EQ only one IC PLD EPM7128)
ps: As far as I can see, the project at the link for the OPL (?)
PAC-V (as it is called) can be used for OPLL, PSG and even SSC (through a modified vgmplay), you can see here. It uses 1 music channels as source for 1 bar and as such is quite different.
It would be nice if MSX-EQ could support OPLL as well.
I cant understand how PAC visualize PSG? For Example sound from game VK:
video time code:

and msx-eq video time code:

"It would be nice if MSX-EQ could support OPLL as well."
sorry, msx-eq can only PSG or, possibly, OPLL, as PLD is very simple... I could hardly place the spectrum visualization logic PSG...
ps:
I am waiting for a new version of the boards without errors, check it and hope to publish good news for those who would like to build such a cartridge for themselves.
Hello all!
good news!
new version pcb check! - all right
RBSC group localizate MSX-EQ , project is free for use.
if you make MSX-EQ, please post a photo assembled pcb here.

I found another solution cheap (about 10$) and that works with all sound sources witout take any cartridge slot.

Hello!
I have tried several inexpensive visualizers (called spectroanalyzers) that work with audio input. And I think that the spectrum analysis there is not real, the visualizers only flash beautifully with LEDs with a delay relative to the sound, but do not display the real spectrum.
offtop:
i try connect MSX-EQ to extension slot ZX Sinclair (clone Sizif-512) =)
it's possible!

Hey, that looks really nice!

Well... At least it is not EQ Seems to me just channel viewer like in many good old demos.

If you end up going that way I give a tip that may help to reuse some parts of the code:
$90000 / ("OPLL F-num" * 2 ^ "OPLL octave") = "PSG frequency"
