Mapper Megaram 512 issues

Hello everyone!

A while back I got my first MSX from eBay. This is my first post and I am honored to be a part of this group! I have slowly been ordering and recieving all the bits and pieces to get the most out of my machine. Just the other day I finally got my Mapper Megaram from Brazil. When starting it up, it does recognize the cartridge but it doesn't boot off of it. I have tried to follow tutorials to get Nextor, sofrun ect. But I still cannot get anything to run. It shows that it recognizes the SD card, but I am having trouble getting it to start.

I will include a few pictures later today when I get home so that I can show exactly what I have. I'll also show the different SD card configurations I have tried. I am running a Panasonic
FS-A1FM if that matters

Thanks brother! I just got a brand new SD card to try out fresh following the instructions on that link. You actually helped me out last week when I emailed you about floppy disks.

I thought I would throw these out there now that I have time.

Currently this is all I can get out of this cartridge.

You can do it in Firefox, Edge and Chrome by choosing "Open image in a new tab".

hmm, now it works (didn't get the image before). But I have no experience with this thing. I don't know why it's not booting.

How did you set up the SD card?

To the OP: Your picture set shows un-matching settings; 1st picture shows "mapper enabled", while third picture has the RAM clearly switched off.

To boot to DOS2/Nextor in your machine, the switches need to be set to "ON" and "MP".

What does exactly mean "it doesn't boot off of it" ??
If you get the Nextor basic prompt, then type "files". If you get a list of files it means that your SD card isn't correctly formatted or is missing the Nextor boot files or you have less than 128KB of RAM.
If it's stuck at the blue screen and you are sure that the SD card is good and correctly formatted then you should contact the seller.
