I tried to make the 6 button controller into this, but it is very complicated to make.
I need to add Arduino or some other IC into the controller board to emulate 6 button controller...
Need to make some hole for buttons also.
I used USB 3.0 port on the right side because it has extra pins to use.
It is not compatible with USB 3.0 but I can connect USB Keyboard directly.
When I need to use S-video, I can use external AV connector with USB port also.
That's why I used USB 3.0 connector. :)
Some of the guys told me it should support sofarun but I think it is one of the software cause
anybody can use it somebody who wants. However, MSXBOY is not 100% compatible with sofarun
because it does not have extra buttons. (Select button: System Reset, Start button: Battery check/Lamp)
MSX Boy does not have any dip switch. However, it is compatible with KDL's firmware.
I draw the schematic and circuit with some dip switch enabled and others are not internally.
SD memory enabled / AV output enabled / 2048 kb ram .. When new version of KDL's firmware
comes, you could download it via pldload.com without any changes.
I used Gameboy slot but it does not have enough pins to use.
Cause I removed some pins like CS2, CS12, RFSH, WAIT, INT, M1, BUSDIR, IORQ, MERQ....
Cause it cannot supports some of cartridges even if I make external cartridge slot.
MSX cartridge has 50 pins but Gameboy has just 32 pins... I had no choice..
It was very long time to make... My back and arm hurts....
Anyways it is done right now...
