Los amores de Brunilda is the next production for MSX in which Retroworks is currently working on. In fact this game was released for ZX Spectrum in 2013 with good reviews and now it is the turn of MSX. The game receives a port for MSX2 computers featuring SCC+PSG sound, everything packed in a MegaROM including 7 different languages! One of them the slang of the Nelo & Quqo game which also implies a change in the game sprites. Fernando García (Bitvision), José Vicente Masó (WYZ) and Francisco Javier Velasco (Pagantipaco) are in charge of coding, sound and graphics respectively. José Andrés (Konamito) and Rubén Sánchez (araubi) are the official testers.

The team expect to launch this RPG game in the course of this year 2019. For now enjoy this gem watching the recent video uploaded to Youtube.

Oh, and definitely awesome to have more MSX2 games. Reminds me a bit of Dragon Slayer 6, in graphics style and set-up. Not sure how the battle system works though.

MSX2 rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having finished the Spectrum version, I can tell you that the battle system is not like the ones in regular RPG games.

It's better to experience it yourself. No spoilers. Smile

Great graphics and overall performance, it looks really good. Smile

I'm so happy to see more cool stuff being developed for MSX2. Don't mind me wrong, I love the MSX1 as much as the next fan, but sometimes I feel MSX2 could use more love as well. Big smile

Thanks for the nice comments Smile. About the questions, I guess Fernando will be the right person to reply, but this is what I know so far:

- It is using Screen 5. The main menu has some more tricks like mode change using line ints.
- The music is currently using PSG only, but WYZ is enhancing it to use SCC features.

Thanks for your comments guys
On top of what my pal @Utopian said I would just add the main menu split screen involves SS5 & SC3 plus palette change, so up to 32 colours on that. This 32 palette thingy is also found during the gameplay splitting below object/faith dashboard and top playable area in order to show dark colours during night scenes keeping dashboard palette intact
