This might sound slightly familiar to regular visitors of the MRC, but as of today the music tracker Oracle has been declared freeware by Sunrise. Oracle, a product created by Fuzzy Logic can be used to create songs for the MSX-MUSIC. It has several interesting features which are demonstrated by several demo-tracks (by Wolf_!) and explained in the manual that is included in both TXT and PDF format. You can find Oracle, and 540 other freeware MSX software products, in our ever growing MSX Downloads database.

Do you have software, music or graphics you'd like to share with the MSX community? Send it to downloads@msx.org and we'll add it to the downloads section.

And the handful of MSX-composers left goes: ... yay!

Big smile But really, nice move. Certainly a nice program to try if you've never used it before. Just goes to show what your MSX can still do.

Problem with Oracle is, and always has been, that there is no replayer available for it. Anything you compose in it, you will only ever be able to play in Oracle.
