SjASM v0.39e

Topic: Development
Languages:

A new version of SjASM, the XL2S Entertainment two pass macro Z80 cross-assembler (supporting local labels, modules, source include, binary include, conditional assembly, 32 bit expression evaluation, storage maps, structures, a lot of undocumented Z80 opcodes and who knows what more) has just been released.

Only some small bug-fixes in this release:

  • Unreferenced labels are indicated with an 'X' in the labellisting
  • Unknown escapecodes in strings result in just one error (instead of more)
  • Labelnameparts now have a maximum of 70 characters
  • Improved IX and IY offset checking

Also worth mentioning may be the fact that the license has changed. To use SjASM, it's no longer required to report all bugs you find.

Also worth mentioning may be the fact that the license has changed; it's no longer required to report all bugs you found to use SjASM...So that's your way to get a list of developers who are actually using SjASM? Deliberately adding bugs to it? Wink

A cross asm with Linux support! Just what I needed. Will be experimenting with that. And in case I do find a bug, you will find out. Wink
