I know, but with this few new features, for me, is far better that the "official". Now it has TWO slots, for example. And new features improves much it. I think that MSX in ONE CHIP should be release when ESE finish it's prototipes. Smile

The OneChipMSX also have two slots, take a closer look to the ASCII pictures, it's the very same device. The second slot was removed in order to get a cheaper price.

On the other hand, I'm glad that ESE continues working on the OneChipMSX besides the comercialization failure.

Ivan: what restrictions are you talking about?

Minimum pre-orders to be produced, MSX2 configuration not installed by default and not free,...

I guess everybody really wanted to pay more money for OCM than just €189 euro Wink

As for MSX2 code not being installed, it's not a restriction but more an inconvenience. The official upgrade is not free (at least, I suppose so. I don't know under which license the code is being released), but you can still use the code made by ESE.

Dear Ivan,

The minimum quantity is not something ASCII really wants. But to make production affordable, you simply need to have a certain amount of orders. That has nothing to do with ASCII, but with how any factory works. Simple Economics...
