To most MSX fans, our Spanish friend Néstor Soriano, better known as konamiman, isn't quite an obscure person. You may know him for such things as being the creator of NestorBASIC or for being the first ever to send a tweet using an MSX machine. In case you ever wondered what makes this man tick, you're in for a nice surprise, since Konamiman has been interviewed for Kirainet by Héctor García, a Spanish engineer who lives in Tokyo and currently works at Twitter Japan. In this interview, some mysteries are finally revealed, such as how Néstor came up with his nickname and where he got the idea of creating an MSX Twitter client. A well worth read!

Just a side note: I am working to put InterNestor 2.0, the TCP/IP UNAPI specification and MSX trivial tweeter on my web site, I hope that soon.

So sorry. But this news was reported to us today.

This invitation still goes to all those who skillfully master the definition of "news":

Morg, if you don't want to taste Kyoko's food anymore, or don't want to receive any sweetie from Japan anymore, just tell it.

(He is my neighbour actually) Smile

It was sad to read that MSX standard had one of the shortest life spans in computing. It´s even worse, that it was not just one rapidly died poor computer, but whole standard which died faster than you can say "What MSX means?". Wink

The MSX standard was showcased for the first time in 1993, and the last computer, an MSX Turbo-F, came out of a Panasonic factory at the end of 1993. Major Japanese corporations like Sony, Sanyo, Panasonic, Mitsubishi, Toshiba or Philips made MSX computers.

Seems that the translation has been done in a rush. You can always learn Spanish and read the original version, which has no errors. Tongue
