It took a while, but we made it! A grand total of 2,000 members have signed up to the MSX Resource Center! After breaking the 1,000 members barrier in October 2002 and launching the restyled MSX Resource Center 2 months later, more and more people joined us to get listed in the contacts database, to submit news, to post reactions to newsposts or to discuss in our forums (20,000 posts and counting). So, you're wondering who the 2,000th member of the MRC is? It's guilinan from Brazil. Cheers mate!

When you register an account at the MSX Resource Center you can communicate with other MSX users on the website, browse (and get listed) in the contacts database, sign up for the MRC newsletters and much more. In the near future we will introduce some new features as well. So, what's keeping you? Sign up today! Show the MSX Community you're out there!

When we first offered people to open up an account at msx.org we had never expected the user-base to become this big. The entire MSX Resource Center team would like to join everyone who created an account at the MRC, especially those who contributed to the contents of the MRC by submitting newsposts, reactions and forumposts. Keep up the good job guyz and girls! Now, lets head for 2,500 members!

I think the 2000 is already pretty impressive. And because we send newsletters on a regularly bases, we also filter out invalid addresses. Every time, after a newsletter is being sent, we delete all the non valid e-mail addresses. So the list is pretty clean. Let's go for the 2500 indeed!!

Congrats! But erm... Not to be nasty, no sir, never would, but did you guys leave out ex-members (like GuyveR800) who supposedly still have a correct e-mail address?

yeah, I also was under the impression that 'boyz and girls' was a bit too optimistic, typically this refers to a 50/50 division Smile

well, he ain't around anymore. but i'd doubt that he would like msx.org to remove his accounts (incl his number of posts) Big smile

[open too much gaming mode]
How about Pixie, Jaimie, Aphrodite, Holly or Natasha? :-) they were once MSX-gals :-) Doesn't anyone have the addresses of some of them?

Arrh, just that GuyveR800 doesn't post on the forum anymore doesn't mean he doesn't frequent msx.org anymore, or read the fora, or well... all the other things you can do here. And gah, give it a rest! Geez.
