About once every two months the remaining MSX users from in and around Tokyo gather in Kawasaki city for a friendly chat and to catch up with the latest MSX developments. Bernard Lamers sent us a report and a photoshoot of the meeting that was held on February 29th. It contains some special information on Konami's network racing game A1 Grand Prix, pictures of a huge collection of MSX software and an exclusive first look at the upcoming MSX Game Reader.

Hmm, it feels kind of weird to send in a reaction to something I posted myself (I used to do that all the time Tongue), but euhm.. thank you very much Bernard for keeping us up to date on the latest events in Japan!! Loved reading your article!

I hope Bernard isn't too proud to pick up any MSX software he sees lying in the garbage Tongue

Also, I see the HBI-V1 used in the game-reader. Does that mean it actually works in it?

GuyveR800, don't worry. If the item in the garbage is interesting enough, I will most definitely pick it up. Last item I picked up was a Sony MSX 2+ in perfectly working condition. As I don't make me wife too happy be increasing my MSX collection at home even more, I even went to the trouble of finding a new home for the Sony.

About the HBI-V1 in the Game Reader: I wished it worked, but unfortunately it doesn't.

Then on a sidenote: I accidentally came across Mr. Aoki yesterday. When we met Mr. Aoki showed me two MSX titles he just purchased. Apparently he is aiming at a 7 meter collection :-).
