MSX Resource Center: 4 million visitors

Within a year after Webstats4u counting the 3 millionth visit to the MSX Resource Center, we have reached the next milestone. Earlier today, our Webstats4u counter, which has been counting visitors to the MRC since August 8th, 1996 has registered the 4 millionth (4.000.000) visitor to the MSX Resource Center.

The past 6 years, MSX Resource Center has experienced an overwhelming growth of visitors and activity on the website, of which you can also see a small summary on our statistics page. Once again, we would like to thank all our visitors for following (and submitting) the latest MSX news, posting in our active MSX Forum or posting reactions to news, MSX downloads, photos taken during MSX events or polls or simply those who silently visit our website and use one of our many features. There are 4million pageviews, not visitors. But, anyway, this is very good.

We have -much, much, much- more pageviews, Nautilus. We have about 500.000 pageviews per month. Strictly spoken, webstats4u counts sessions, which is kind of a useless figure between 'pageviews' and 'visits'. But for historical reasons, we stick to that lil' counter.

(are we -really- going to have that 'visitors' vs 'pageviews' vs 'blah' discussion every time?)
