MSX logos online at Bazix

As of today the MSX, MSX2, MSX2+, MSX turboR and MSXPLAYer logos are available for download on the Bazix website. As they announced last week, Bazix is the representative of MSX Association outside of Japan. In most cases the MSX logos can be used free of charge. If you want to be sure you can read the MSX logo policy before using the MSX logo. All logos are now available in PNG and EPS vector format.

Very nice, are there also original logo's in eps format of the following:

- FM Sound (the note)
- FM-PAC
- PCM
- MIDI
- ROM (Does it exist ?)
- MegaROM
- MSX-Audio (none of the carts contains a logo of it, did they forget to create one ?)
- VHD
- QuickDisk (The QD logo)
- Laserdisk
- Tape (none of my japanese tape games have one, only some text I guess)
- Disk (it seems every company uses his own logo for it ?)

Quote from the Bazix website: "The terms and conditions for using logos that are directly linked to the MSX system (such as the MSX-MUSIC and MegaROM logo) will be published on this page as soon as all necessary preparations have been made."

This also means that the logos Sylvester mentioned above will be published on the MSX Association and Bazix website for 'community use', as long as they are trademarked by MSX Association. We'll try and figure out whether or not there were also 'official' tape and disk logos, but my first guess is there aren't.

The EPS logo is cool! A vector format! But, what's so 300dpi about it? THe preview?
BTW, what about making a light-weight version, without bitmapped preview? And what about making it a real EPS compatible by stripping off the binary headers added by Adobe ILlustrator?
