Mariënberg photoshoot - October 2004

Last saturday the MSX Vriendenclub Mariënberg held their monthly MSX meeting in Mariënberg, the Netherlands. A week later than usual, due to the Bussum 2004 fair, it turned out to be a very crowded day. During the day people played games and discussed general MSX topics. Bas Kornalijnslijper fixed quite a lot of MSX hardware and a gaming competition was held. Pictures of the meeting and the diner after the meeting, taken by Abi van Tamelen, can be found over here in our ever growing photoshoots section.

Do you have interesting pictures taken on MSX fairs or meetings not yet listed in our photoshoots section? Don't hesitate to send them to photoshoots@msx.org and we will publish them on the MRC. We are especially looking for pictures taken on MSX fairs and meetings held in the early 1990's.

I suppose the difference is pretty small.. as with 'Jeux de boules' and the dutch 'koersbal'. (AFAIK)

And afaik Bowling has a wider 'alley' and less pins... (or was it more...)... BTW, GuyveR forgot to mention the sport 'klootschieten'. ^_^

Erm... 'koersbal' is something entirely different from jeux de boules... the balls they use in that game have weights in one side of the ball, so that the ball moves in a curved trajectory.

well, ok, not so different Smile. it's still about throwing a ball to a certain point.
Jorito and snout: ah, ok... I already got the impression that the lane looked smaller, so that's apparantly the case.
