On november 26th our reporter Sander Zuidema took a plane to Tokyo Narita. Over there he would meet many Japanese MSX users before, during and after the two big MSX events that were held on November 30th: MSX Magazine Matsuri and MSX Waku Waku Park. As of today, you can have a look at the pictures Sander took during those days. Also, several pictures taken by Bernard Lamers were used in the photoshoots.
The Nippon 2003 photo shoot shows it all: the arrival in Tokyo, a look on the MSX Magazine Matsuri before the grand opening, the lecture of Kazuhiko Nishi and the many items that were on display during this fair. Also some pictures of the Talkshow, hosted by Mr. Yokoi, can be found here. He questioned Mr. Niitani (former president of Compile, now president of Aiky) and Sander about Compile, MSX in Europe and the upcoming MSX game Guru Logic, which got previewed in MSX Magazine 2 and demonstrated on MSX Magazine Matsuri. But there is even more: you can also see many pictures of the MSX User meeting MSX Waku Waku Park, the diner that was held after the fairs and several pictures taken after November 30th, including a meeting with Mr. Kazuhiko Nishi.
Since there were a lot of MSX computers on display during MSX Magazine Matsuri, we decided to dedicate a separate photo shoot to those computers: you can have a look at them here.
