After sending us in photoshoots of MSX fairs in Tilburg and Zandvoort from 1995 to 1997, Stephan Szarafinski sent us the pictures he took at the MSX fair in Tilburg, 2001.
This MSX fair will be remembered by many MSX fans around the world because Kazuhiko Nishi, the father of MSX, attended this fair to give a lecture. Before the MSX fair, no one really knew what the lecture would be about, but rumours were already spreading about Panasonic creating a new MSX. During his lecture, Mr. Nishi spoke about the past, present and future of MSX, revealing his ideas behind the MSX Revival. You can read an MRC transcript of this lecture over here.
In the Tilburg 2001 photoshoot you can have a look at the booths on the fair, Manuel Bilderbeek guiding Mr. Nishi through the premise and finally, the speech that no one expected.
