Adriano informed us about 14 new patchfiles he released for ExecROM, a tool which can be used to play MSX games from a MegaRAM cartridge:

Both ExecROM and the patchfiles can be found on the ExecROM website. 256kB MegaRAM cartridges are still available at Ademir's MSX Projetos website for R$ 99.- (which is about € 41.- or US$ 52.-) ex packaging and shipping.

Now the number is 15 patchfiles. Smile Added a patchfile for Digital Devil Story (goodset package ROM).

At Ademir's website, there are also 512KB MegaRAM. And it is worth to note that those 256KB can pe easily expanded into 512KB.

1) Some MegaRAM's cannot be expanded, can it be verified that the ones on offer can be expanded?

2) The RAM chips are now harder to get ?

1) Ademir promoted then at MSXBR-L as "expansible 256KB MegaRAM".

2) I dunno how hard the chips are to get, but I'm sure it is much more easier than those Panasonic 4464 chips. In fact, if Ademir is builting lots of new MegaRAMs, there is some good repositorie to get those chips. Maybe if you buy the MegaRAM, he can send the necessary chips for a little extra fee.
