Michiel de Vries has been working quite a lot lately, and the results are impressive. After seeing each others products, Michiel de Vries and Marcel Delorme (known from several GFX9000 tools and programs like Moonblaster Wave) decided to team up. The OPL4 wave-editor for GFX9000 and Meridian will support a new wave-format, specially designed for these two programs. This way, you can edit your opl4 PCM tones in a graphical, external environment.

As for the program itself, many of the updates suggested in this thread on our forum are already incorporated. Every suggestion is taken into consideration, but the main focus is on playing MIDI files on OPL4 now. For that matter, the first real steps have been taken. Meridian is already capable of playing MIDI files using 2OP FM tones.

On the next MSX fair in Tilburg (to be held on April 26th), Michiel and Marcel will demonstrate their products on the MSX Resource Center stand.

The new Meridian website is now online, the latest beta version can be downloaded from there.

I've downloaded the beta version, but it isn't possible playing MIDIfiles through 2op FM with this version, or is it?
