Very cool demo indeed. I also like the readme and the greetings ^_^

Are there more people working on 20th anniversary products?

It does not work on my Turbo-R with internal 512K... the Abyss logo appears, then apparently lots of data are loaded from disk, and then it hangs... 8-(

did you try running it in Z80 mode, without external hardware connected?

Strange, it did work on the TR of Snout. Someone else reported problems on a ST.

I have tried with DOS 1 and DOS 2, and with absolutely no external hardware connected. Still not work...

Sadly I don't have a Turbo R to test it myself, but the source will be put online soon if someone wants to look at it to see why it's causing problems on some TR

It works now. I just had to remove the "map" from start.bat. But something still wrong... music sounds odd, and some graphics aren't displayed correctly.

The demo should also work from HD in DOS2, hence the map.com otherwise the mapper is locked.

Try booting in dos2, switch to Z80 mode, run map.com and start the demo.

I truly have no clue what is so different on the TurboR regarding memory mapper

I just tested it on my TR ST with 1MB internal memory, but no problems at all (also on my CF it didn't give any problems).

Only one strange thing in the pixel tunnel, it looks like the pixels from the bottom appear on top. But it's still a nice demo Smile

Why you don't just check if DOS 2 is present, and if so, use the DOS 2 mapper support routines?

BTW the demo finally worked perfectly... don't ask me why, since I didn't any changes on my hard, but now it works! This is a true "MSX-Files" 8-O
