Óscar Toledo Gutiérrez, we all know him from last year's Zombie Near, has finished his latest masterpiece. In Princess Quest, the very first game of 2012, you're standing in the shoes of a valiant knight, about to go on a quest to save the beautiful princess from a dangerous castle. Across a multitude of challenging levels you will have to prove that you are up to the job.

Apart from its rather interesting and unusual story line, this is what else the game features:

  • Double layer, smooth parallax scrolling (both vertical and horizontal)
  • 64kB compressed ROM
  • Runs on MSX1 with at least 32kB RAM
  • Enhanced pallette feature on MSX2
  • Release in large VHS case, including full-color manual

The game is yours for only 24 euros, and can be bought here:

  • Matra (Spain & worldwide)
  • Bitwise (Netherlands & worldwide)

Very good game, I'm interested in buying it, but I did have no answer from Bitwise...
Same story with Matra and Zombie Monsters.
Any help?

The game is now available in digital version :

http://www.scubbly.com/item/77635/

It's the Coleco version, you need only to pay 9.95 USD (something like 7.20 €), the payment is really fast with PayPal and you receive also very fast a link to the file in your mail program !

To play the game, you need blueMSX 2.8.2 or higher, select a Coleco machine, insert manually the rom (256 kb) in a cartridge slot and select the Colecovision Megacart mapper.
