In this forum thread Crappysoft announced 'Pyramid Quest'. It is a nice MSX1 platformgame, written in MSX-BASIC but with the use of some ASM routines. The speed of the game is rather slow, but it has a nice intro and for a BASIC game, it's pretty impressive.

To download 'Pyramid Quest' you have to join the Crappysoft Yahoo Group

very nice! great gfx e cool puzzles. it's a bit slow, but running on a turboR it's just at the right speed.

REALLY a nice little game, I like that kind of games Smile

But it´s really kind of slow on a standart MSX2, but with 7Mhz it´s really fun Smile

Thanks! I'm glad to hear that you like the game. Ferocius critics are also welcome, for sure! Smile The game is very slow, I tried to optimize the routines but I am not a good programmer and the machine code routines are used only for loading the character set to VRAM, sprites to VRAM and such things Smile

This site is fantastic and now I know I have an oportunity to spread those little games here, and I'm going to do that, sure! Smile
