I agree with TheSpecialist. It would be great if more MSX2/2+ games would be developed Smile

I'd say 18 entries is a pretty good turnout for a game development competition on a 30 year old system. For a long time I felt the contest was in a decline, since the amount of entries had been slowly dropping, so its nice to see this sudden burst of interest! Cant wait till I can play the finished products!

Donate button doesn’t work… when I press it it pops up a message “¿Estás seguro que deseas hacer esto?”, and after that it goes to a page with the message “¡Un error ha ocurrido! Falla al validar la sesión. Por favor intenta nuevamente.”.

This year's edition is very promising!

I guess it would be nice to publish in the specs if the game was designed for 60Hz or 50Hz. For some games this make quite a difference in the experience.

Since MSXdev rules about compatibility are stricter this year, I took the liberty to do some testing with the entries running on the known troublemakers of the MSX system (emulated on openMSX, since I don't own so many machines).

Just as a curiosity I also tested them on the AcidTests, but this shouldn't in any way be considered when evaluating the games, as it wasn't part of the context rules.

This year also very high quality productions, and the good news are that the compatibility chart was also very good when compared with the previous editions.

So, the results:
