Yes, you can make it work, I just verified that on my phone. What do you mean with a crash? What happens exactly? And what emulator version, phone model, game file etc. are you using?
There is an issue with fMSX/S60 and SD Snatcher due to the fact that it is a disk game that requires a separate SCC+ cartridge. Easiest way to make it work is to use a cracked version of the game that works without SCC(+). It is also possible to get SCC working by using a cracked version of the game that supports plain SCC, but then you need to create a dummy ROM image (with a valid header of course) and choose "Konami SCC" ROM mapper for it. I should fix this in the emulator so that SCC(+) could be enabled without a ROM image at all; I'll try to do that as soon as I have some time to spend with the emulator code.
I'm using fmsx/s60 version 1.19d, Nokia N95.. Rom games are working fine. Disk images (.dsk) are crashing right after the boot.. (blue screen). Also a disk image created by the fmsx/s60 doesn't work.
What options are you using? I'm assuming you do have the system disk ROM in place (disk.rom)? If I recall right some disk ROMs have been causing problems in the past, using a different one might help -- for example the one you can get from the official fMSX web site should work I think.
