Carnivore2 Slot 1, Another Cartridge Slot 2 but I want to go to Nextor :)

I don't think it's possible. Carnivore doesn't block game cartridges in other slots. But why would you want to run Nextor when a game cartridge is in one of the slots anyway?

Create the SKIP2.ROM on this page and flash it to your Carnivore2. When you run it from the menu, it will skip the cartridge in slot 2. I have used this myself to dump a game before I had a slot expander. I only don't remember if it boots into Nextor or into Basic.

I will test this and if it works, I might implement this feature into the Boot Block. But for me it's still a mystery why someone would want to skip the game cartridge and boot to Nextor.

Yes similar feature exists in MFR SCC+ SD’s recovery menu to allow dumping of the cartridge ROM. It allows to skip rom in slot 2 and 3 (for machines that have external slot 2 as slot 3).

I will need it to dump the 30-in-1 cartridge when it comes in couple of weeks form now

as long as it doesn't boot into the game that would be good enough for me. I can boot either into MSX DOS or Nextor manually

Could you share the location and name of the file if possible?
