The French MSX community portal MSX Café has published a dossier on the One Chip MSX, the new FPGA based MSX computer of which we still hope to see a Western/English release in the future.

TNI members Albert Beevendorp and Patriek Lesparre have put together a section on MSX Banzai dedicated to the 1ChipMSX.

A few days ago, MSX User Edwin Velds placed an in-depth text on our forum, with instructions on how to resurrect a 1chipMSX. If the 1chipMSX won't boot anymore due faulty VHDL code, you can't resurrect the machine using software, and a standard cable is a tad expensive.

It's been a while since we heard news about the Western Edition of the 1chipMSX. Finally, after a long deafening silence Bazix has sent out a mailing with news regarding their efforts to bring this Western Edition to us.

Imahi reported that there are currently two new MSX books about to be released.In the end of this year, ASCII will release a MSX PLAYer magazine, which will also contain a CD-ROM with MSX Software and documentation.Before that, Shuwa systems will release a book on MSX.

HRA has updated his One Chip MSX fansite with a new VHDL patch that increases the amount of RAM in the One Chip MSX's MSX2 configuration from 1MB to an even more respectable 2MB.

3.000 Game Readers sold!

As of today, more than 3.000 MSX Game Readers were sold in the ASCII MSX Store. This means that these USB ROM Cartridge readers will actually be produced and sold for a price of 12.500 yen (about 95 euro).
