Musical influences in MSX games

Some of the music used in MSX games was inspired by music from other sources, such as film works and classical music. Such influences may have been subtle or massive. It may have been intentional, such as games based on movies, like there are also games that feature music which isn't known to the mainstream audience. Below is a(n under construction) list of MSX game music origins.

Ys series (II, III)FalcomFeena's theme is not part of the OST of Ys: Ancient Ys Vanished Omen series on MSX, as it is on other platforms, but parts of the theme can be heard in Ys II and III also on MSX. Feena's theme may have been influenced by Pop Avenue (Janko Nilovic), as there is at least some resemblance (some discussion).
